Over at Disneyland Resort, one attraction that is highly anticipated every year is “it’s a small world.” The attraction is always beautifully decorated with stunning lights and several holiday-inspired touches. While it closes for a few weeks in preparation for the Christmas overly preparation, Disney recently shared a behind-the-scenes view into what goes into making it the wonderful Disney holiday experience it is.

ABC7 shared a little overview of what fans can expect from this year’s festive decor.

We got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the transformation inside the parks. Joe Peters, the park’s senior technical director, has worked at the park for 39 years and says the holiday celebrations at Disneyland are “radically different” than they used to be.

Per Peters, it takes about seven to eight weeks to transform the attraction, including large pieces that weigh thousands of pounds to smaller pieces and “Easter eggs” and small details that are still very appreciated by die-hard fans.

The Festival of Holidays at the Southern California Disney Resort will certainly bring an enchanting experience for those visiting Disney California Adventure Park during the holiday season.
