The Marvel Cinematic Universe is taking over Hyperion Theater tomorrow. Starting June 30,  “Rogers: The Musical” will show Marvel fans what happens when Broadway and heroes collide.

Just in time for Independence Day, Captain American, a.k.a. Steve Rogers, will share his origin story in the only way he knows how: with Disney live entertainment. Joined by Nick Fury, Peggy Carter, and other household Marvel names, “Rogers: The Musical” is a triumphant tale of “heroism, romance, and self-discovery,” according to Disney.

“Rogers: The Musical”  is inspired by the fictional Broadway musical theater sequence featured in the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” when Clint Barton (a.k.a. Hawkeye) is the only Avenger who shows up to see the production, featuring a musical number based on the Avengers’ battle of New York.

As with any Hyperion Theater hit at the Disneyland Resort, like “Frozen-Live at the Hyperion” and “Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular,” the music is the centerpiece. In addition to music from masterful composers like Alan Menken, David Zippel, Christopher Lennertz, Jordan Peterson, Alex Karukas, Marc Shaiman, and Scott Wittman, industry insider Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin on Twitter) shared a song list with a sneaky Star Wars surprise:

Here is the song and music list. “Imperial March” is a surprise.

While Guests can’t wait to hear “Star Spangled Man,” superhero fans are always ready for a John Williams cameo.
