Disneyland guests are about to see a little extra magic shine through the park’s classic Fantasyland attraction. Ahead of its official debut tomorrow, Disney has unveiled a first look at Rapunzel’s Tower — the latest addition to the Storybook Land Canal Boats attraction at Disneyland Park.

A New Adventure Awaits!
The company shared a video today showcasing the newly installed tower, which will bring the world of Tangled (2010) to life as part of the beloved miniature attraction. The video, posted by Disney Parks, offers a stunning glimpse at the intricately detailed tower nestled among Storybook Land’s fairytale landscapes.
Fans immediately recognized the significance of the moment — a nod to one of the film’s most iconic lines, “And at last I see the light.” For many Disney enthusiasts, the addition marks a long-awaited expansion of Tangled’s presence in Disneyland’s Fantasyland, where Rapunzel’s world has been represented primarily through character appearances and themed areas rather than permanent rides.

A Historic Attraction Revived
The Storybook Land Canal Boats attraction, which first opened in 1956, has long celebrated Disney’s animated storytelling tradition through detailed miniature scenes from classic films. Guests board small boats that glide through a tranquil canal surrounded by miniature landscapes, each inspired by a different Disney fairytale. Rapunzel’s Tower will join the ranks of other beloved scenes, such as Frozen, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid.
With Rapunzel’s Tower officially joining Storybook Land tomorrow, Disneyland is continuing to weave new stories into its timeless attractions — giving fans one more reason to set sail and rediscover the magic. For Disney, this marks another occasion for the parks to honor newer movies like Tangled and integrate them into the theme parks.
