Former Disney Channel and movie star Ashley Tisdale has been accused of causing a car crash and has even been hit with a lawsuit for the same.
Often, we at Disney Fanatic report on some of the happiest Disney news there is—from Indiana Jones finding massive success despite the box office fiasco to wholesome interactions at a Disney theme park (be that Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida or Disneyland Resort in Southern California), or even former Disney star Miley Cyrus making peace with her past—however, sometimes we have less than savory news to report as well. For example, Camp Rock star and Jonas Brothers singer, Joe Jonas has filed for divorce from his wife, Sophie Turner, after four years of divorce.
Now, there’s some other difficult news.

Disney star Ashley Tisdale Hit With Lawsuit for Car Crash
Per the latest reports from Newsbreak, former Disney star Ashley Tisdale, 38, has been accused by a woman named Lina Gonzales of causing severe neck injuries and sever back injuries due to a car crash Tisdale was involved in on Hollywood Boulevard.
That isn’t all; Gonzales further claims that she had to pay $140,000 out of pocket for medical expenses and medical bills, and is seeking damages from Tisdale.
Per documents obtained by TMZ, a lawyer representing Gonzales asserts that his client had been waiting at a light to turn left when Tisdale allegedly changed lanes and hit her car.
Were this not enough, Gonzales’ lawyer, Michael R. Parker, told TMZ that Tisdale “called [his client] names” and “made a big fuss about the situation.”
Of course, Tisdale’s representatives have challenged the claim and argued that “There was no aggressiveness or words exchanged from Ashley following the crash.”
What is Ashley Tisdale Doing Now?
After finding success on the Disney Channel with The Suite Life of Zack and Cody as Maddie Fitzpatrick, Ashley Tisdale landed the role of Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical series and built her career from there.
Today, she has become a business owner with a wellness company, Frenshe, a Goop-style website with its own line of branded skin and body care products. Tisdale has been married to her husband, musician Christopher French, since 2014, with the pair welcoming their daughter Jupiter in 2021.
