This is the REAL Reason Fans “Hate” this Disney Ride

Disney Fanatics love everything Disney—it comes with the territory, after all.

From incredible attractions like Cinderella Castle or Sleeping Beauty Castle, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park, to shows like “Fantasmic!” at any Disney Theme Park, or the wonderful character dining experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, there’s a lot for every Disney fan to take in and enjoy.

However, not every part of the Disney experience is universally beloved by fans.

Over the years, Guests have complained about ride malfunctions and bad Guest behavior, and certain rides are not quite loved equally by all fans. This story is about one such.

Radiator Springs Racers, Cars Land

Radiator Springs Racers is a popular attraction located in Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Southern California. It is based on the Disney-Pixar animated film Cars and offers an immersive racing experience for visitors. Guests can “Zoom through the desert landscape of Cars Land,” where Guests will “Take a quick spin into either Luigi’s Casa Della Tires or Ramone’s House of Body Art to get a racing makeover—then hit the road.”

Some fans have complained about Radiator Springs Racers and opined that they’re not fans of the ride, and one Park-goer decided to call them out in a playful way:

And, while the Guest poked fun at other visitors, fans in the comments jumped into debate!

One fan shared, “I hate that the line doesn’t move. That house made of bottles is neat for the first 45 minutes…”

Another added, “The first time I rode it, I spent 3 1/2 hours in line. It was the week after the lower passes opened up and it kept breaking down. And it was very, very hot.”

The lines are so unbearable for many that some even brought up Disney’s controversial Genie Plus (Genie+) and Lightning Lane system sharing, it was “The one ride I’m comfortable getting lightning lane for.”

Considering Guest complaints about the Disney Genie product, that’s worth noting!
