Bad guest behavior at the Disney Parks is certainly not new. Many have seen and experienced this multiple times over and have shared their frustration in these instances.
Whether it’s guests picking fights with fellow park visitors, Disney Cast Members, shouting obscenities at Cast Members, or parents abandoning their infants at the parks, there are definitely those select few adults who don’t adhere to the standards set by The Walt Disney Company themselves for both Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida and Disneyland Resort in Southern California.
However, recently, one guest had enough of Walt Disney World and even said they wouldn’t return to one particular Disney Park. Reddit user u/monsterablue shared that “parent behavior at Magic Kingdom Park was appalling.” The OP noted how many parents completely blocked their view, and one parent even yelled “blood-curdling screams” at her son.
The OP added, “It was my first time at MK, and I will NOT be back! The attractions I went to were incredible, but everything else sucked. I’ll catch y’all at the other parks.”
The guest also added they’d been yelled at by Cast Members for “approaching the exit of a food booth when [they were] literally going to look at the menu” and highlighted the poor crowd control at the Disney theme park.
The large majority of the comments, however, were in defense of the parks. Many pointed out that all of the OP’s issues were quite common to any Disney Park and, frankly, any theme park.
One commented, “Lmaao OP acts like any of this was the parks fault or intention.”
Another fellow Disney fan explained some of the possible causes for this experience, “The parks are seriously understaffed at the moment due to management’s penny-pinching. Poor crowd control and short tempers among the stretched-thin cast members are only two of the casualties.”
The discussion also prompted fans to bring up the upcoming layoffs that The Walt Disney Company is going to see. Many expressed their worry that this will just make a bad situation worse. At the moment, little is known about how the layoffs will impact the Walt Disney Company, although, on the morning of March 27, it was announced that the layoffs would start this week.
It is important to note this is just one guest’s experience at the parks and doesn’t reflect all experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.

Free stuff to people is not appreciated…never will be.
We took my handicapped son to Walt Disney world /The Magic Kingdom, and the people were so rude, my son could not see ANYTHING and when we asked them to move over we were ignored ,and yes we had to yell but that did no good!
Needless to say , we haven’t been back. There is no special lines for the handicapped, its Crazy!!
We were in Disneyland waiting for the parade. We stood behind a couple, no kids, who were sitting on a blanket. As soon as the parade started they stood up and both began videotaping the parade. So the 3 kids with us couldn’t see anything. The husband had taken his shoes off. My SIL took one of the shoes and moved it to the other side of their blanket. Towards the end of the parade he started looking for his shoe. He asked my SIL if he had seen it. Nope!!! At least we got a good laugh at watching them look for his shoe.
The only person yoir hurting by not going back is yourself.
You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. No one can.
Me and my family just came back and my daughter is on the autism spectrum and they DO offer a disability pass so you don’t have to wait in super long lanes it’s called DAS just thought you’d like to know. Also they can also put a red tag on your sons wheelchair
I’m a disabled senior in my own scooter and an older man punched me hard on my spine where my tumor is because he didn’t like wheelchair people. I cried in severe pain for an hour. At the MK parade a man and his wife shoved and pushed the back of my scooter in order to hurt me so they could take my spot at the curb, which I sat for an hour to get so I could actually see the parade.
