What’s your favorite ride in Disney World? Maybe it’s scream-singing along to Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. You also could be the type of person who thinks “it’s a small world” is the best ride to ever exist. Heck, maybe you are someone who absolutely hates rides and is just there for fireworks, parades and corn dog nuggets. We do not judge!

Everyone’s tolerance level is different when in comes to rides. For some, they could not imagine going on Tower of Terror and to other’s they ride in multiple times. Though for some people, the scariest ride in Disney World is not even in a park; it’s transportation.

Disney’s Skyliner flew into Disney World in 2019 and has been a staple ever since. Guests get to board gondolas and get transported to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios with no traffic, in record time. The thing is though, many people are afraid of heights and the Skyliner to them can be seen as a horror ride. There have been people who have had panic attacks over it!

The Skyliner is now the only way to get to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios if you are staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, or Disney’s Riviera Resort. So what are you to do if you are too afraid?

The simplest option would be if you brought your own car, to drive to the parks. If you flew in, you could rent a car and drive to get to the two parks. Another option would be of course a ride share option like UBER or Lyft. Disney even partnered with Lyft for “Minnie Vans”.

A lengthy option would be to take a bus to Disney Springs and then take a bus to one of the other parks from there. To get to EPCOT, you could even take the bus to Magic Kingdom, then take the monorail to the ticket and transportation center and take the monorail to EPCOT. Well, that is if you are not afraid of the monorail which would be our next article.
