Disney channel stars are routinely in the news for various reasons—some less savory than others—but this story is one of newfound faith.
In the past, we’ve shared numerous stories on the goings-on of Disney Channel and former Disney Channel stars. Some are now speaking out about the challenge of their careers, and yet others find themselves in unfortunate circumstances in their lives. This latest news, however, has a slightly different flavor to it.
An actor famous for his role in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Joshua Bassett, recently shared tweets that reporredly alarmed some of his fans.

On seeing this, many fans were surprised as the star had never shared this kind of message before. In response, Bassett took to his Instagram to share further messages about how he was doing well. Bassett shared, “For those concerned about me, be sure of this: I’m better than I have ever been. The peace I feel is far beyond what I thought possible.”
Bassett went on to share anecdotes from his recent experiences that expressly confirmed his faith to explain his new messages to fans who had expressed their confusion. He shared on his Instagram stories,
Tonight at church i prayed to God, ‘so i will know for certain that you are Jesus, and He is the only way, please send someone to touch my back and i will shout it from the rooftops.’ Moments later, two people came up behind me, saying that God put in on their heart to put their hands on me and pray. His love is great, and my faith is certain. Praise be to God forever and ever in Jesus name.
It’s certainly heart-warming to see a story of a different and positive nature about the Disney stars.
