Sneak a peek as a Disney Resort prepares for Hurricane Ian’s landfall that is predicted to hit the southwest coast of Florida soon.
The Walt Disney World Resort is hunkering down and getting ready as Hurricane Ian makes landfall on the southwest coast of Florida. The Theme Park has officially closed for the predicted duration of the hurricane and is making preparations for Guests to stay safe within their rooms as the hurricane hits.

Live streamer Iggy on the Spot took to his Facebook page, Streaming the Magic, to share some of the steps that Disney Resort Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is taking to keep things safe and safeguard the Guests and the property.

Iggy on the Spot explained how the staff are securing the garbage cans, lawn chairs, and furniture that can fly away or become a projectile. Disney appears to be taking all the necessary precautions to safeguard the Resort.
As we reported this morning, they are also now offering box meals to in-shelter Guests to keep them fed during this time.
