If you’re a frequent Walt Disney World Resort Guest who loves using your Disney MagicBand — that is, the upgraded MagicBand+ version of MagicBands — and has been waiting to hear about Disneyland’s MagicBand+ options, then look no further! MagicBand+ is coming to Disneyland Resort and the Disneyland Parks this autumn!
According to the official Disney Parks Blog, this is the first time that Disney MagicBand technology is coming to Disneyland Parks and Disneyland Resorts. If you’re unfamiliar with Disney MagicBands, these are rechargeable, waterproof wristbands that essentially allow Disney Guests to improve their Disney experience by accessing a whole lot of features with just a tap of their wrist at connected Disney locations in Disney Resorts or Disney Parks!
Have you heard the news? 📣 MagicBand+ will make its West Coast debut at #Disneyland this fall, with convenient features and magical experiences. ✨ Read more about it here: https://t.co/qi31LJ4dHN pic.twitter.com/kxyO1mxxAF

As the Disney Parks Blog puts it, “MagicBand+ is a next-generation wearable that enables you to see and feel Park experiences in a new way, thanks to smart features like color-changing LED lights, haptic vibrations and gesture recognition.”
MagicBand+ comes in many different designs and color schemes (such as this Disney princess design, which Disney Legend and Disney princess Jodi Benson is a fan of), so they are also a great way to enhance your Disneybounding experience or your Disney Park outfits — whether or not said outfits have already been professionally styled by a Disney stylist team.
Disneyland Guests will be able to use their MagicBand+ accessories to make their Disney experience better by easily accessing their Disney Park tickets, Magic Key passes (if they are Magic Keyholders), and Lightning Lane bookings during their visits to Disneyland Resort.
Disneyland visitors will also be able to use MagicBand+ to manage the photos that have been taken for them using the Disney PhotoPass service — and, in addition, the MagicBand+ wristbands will light up to ‘dance’ alongside the celebrations taking place during “World of Color” (in Disney California Adventure Park) and “Fantasmic!”, as well as some other Disneyland nighttime shows.
Last but not least, Disneyland MagicBand+ users will also get to try out the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters quest at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Are you headed to Disneyland soon? Will you be eagerly awaiting your MagicBand+ and the features that it offers for your next trip to Disneyland Resort — or are you a Disney World visitor who frequents Disney Parks like the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom instead?
