New Character Meet ‘n’ Greet Graces Disney Park

The Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are known to be prime spots for a magical Disney vacation. Any Theme Park and the attractions at these Disney Resorts—think Haunted Mansion at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park, shows like “Fantasmic!” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a nighttime spectacular like Disney Enchantment, or lands like Pandora at Animal Kingdom Park or Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park—have Guests coming back in droves for a chance to live the Disney experience.

Guardians of the Galaxy at Disney Parks

Any Disney Fanatic would agree the best part of a Disney vacation is being able to immerse yourself in your favorite world from any Disney-owned franchise—be that Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, or Pixar. All fans know the wonder that is being able to meet and interact with one’s favorite characters from the series and stepping into their world for a magical moment.

Of these, one of the more recent additions to the Disney Parks (from the past few years) is Guardians of the Galaxy. Starting with Guardians of the Galaxy: MISSION BREAKOUT!—the retheme of Tower of Terror at Disneyland Resort, which opened in 2017, and going through to the more recent Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT in Walt Disney World Resort, which opened on May 27, 2022.

Now, Disney Parks has a new announcement, and it’s one many are thrilled about.

Brand New Character Meet ‘n’ Greet

Disney California Adventure Park is home to the Avengers Campus, where fans can find the best Marvel experiences. The newest addition to this list is the Mantis Meet that has come to the Disney Park. As Disney Parks announced, Mantis will be joining Peter Quill in front of Guardians of the Galaxy: MISSION BREAKOUT! for Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!

As Disney Parks Blog shared, “The celestial siblings will get their groove on in front of the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction, as they recruit guests with the right skills to join their band of heroes.”

Fans were thrilled at this turn of events, with many expressing, “It’s only right Peter gets his sister to join him in the campus!”
