Arrest Disney World

More trouble appears to be coming out of The Most Magical Place On Earth this week.

On February 22, one Guest was found getting handcuffed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

First reported by Inside the Magic, the apprehended Guest was spotted by an onlooker identified as Victoria J., who took some footage of the scene. Several bags filled with merchandise were also spotted near the Guest. However, it is unclear what her actual reason was for getting handcuffed.

The situation, which took place around 4:00 pm, also appears to be handled by the Orange County Sheriff’s department as well as some Disney Park Cast Members.

It should be noted that Disney’s Hollywood Studios was set to reach capacity on February 22. Crowds, combined with the fact that the Park hosts great drinking options like Oga’s Cantina, means that there is a lot of room for a lot of speculation on a lot of offenses from attempted shoplifting to any warranting forms of aggressive behavior. However, there is, again, no word at this time about what the situation was and what this woman’s actual punishment ended up being.

Disney World 50th Anniversary

This incident is another latest in a series of less-than-magical moments that have occurred at The Walt Disney World Resort as larger than normal crowds return to the Parks. These include moments as frivolous as Guests cooling their feet off in the fountains at Disney Springs to fistfights breaking out at Magic Kingdom, and a car being burglarized in a Disney parking lot. We at Disney Fanatic will continue to keep our eyes on the parks as more stories like this come to light.
