Disney+ will soon be the home of another ragtag sports series. But this time, it is going to come in the form of Pixar animation, and Disney Fanatics finally got their first look on the first day of the 2022 D23 Expo.

It is called Win or Lose, and it follows a misfit little league baseball team led by Coach Dan, who is voiced by Will Forte.

D23 shared the imagery saying the following:

“Up to bat at #D23Expo: a FIRST LOOK at Pixar’s all-new Original series Win or Lose, with Will Forte as Coach Dan. From filmmakers Michael Yates, Carrie Hobson, and David Lally, Win or Lose comes to @DisneyPlus in 2023!

This will be Pixar’s first long-form series after sticking strictly to feature-length films or shorts.

Little else is known about this series so far, especially its plot. But based on this picture, this writer can speculate that Pixar’s Win or Lose will be cut from the same cloth as other sports shows on Disney+ like Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, introducing Disney+ subscribers to a gaggle of characters that one cannot help but fall in love with and root for the entire way.
