Recently, a video online circulated asserting that Disney World had tripled its prices for 2025, but is this true? Or is it another round of satire gone viral?
Any Disney fan would agree that going to a Disney Park has gotten increasingly expensive over the last few years. Whether it’s going to a theme park at the Central Florida Disney Resort, or its enjoying sunny Southern California, myriad reports have illuminated how inaccessible the Disney theme park experience has become for many.
Disney World Raises Ticket Prices Again
As reported by CNN, the Central Florida Disney Resort has once again raised ticket prices for guests. Disney World put 2025 tickets on sale, and many immediately noted the increased prices.
However, at the same time, a well-known Disney account released a video that claimed not only had prices gone up, they had tripled. Of course, eagle-eyed fans would know that this Disney account is Mouse Trap News, and is known for being a satire Disney news site.
Despite this, because of the believable nature of the claims and the kernel of truth it was based in, many fans believed this increase to be true. One fan wrote, “At least it will get the lines shorter!! Great idea Disney!!!😍”
On the other hand, those who were well-aware of the satirical nature of the post commented, “Not sure if fake news or a prophecy.”

What are the Changes in Pricing Coming to Disney World?
Seeing as Disney World ticket prices are not tripling (yet), what are the Disney World ticket price changes?
CNN wrote, “Some of the lowest single-day, single-park ticket prices have gone up by $10.” In addition, Magic Kingdom Park tickets and Animal Kingdom have seen $5 increases in ticket prices on their high-demand days and seasons.
Additionally, park hopper ticket prices have also gone up for multiple dates in 2025.
This said, there is a silver lining. Disney has introduced a new perk for Disney Resort guests: complimentary water park entry on check-in day: “Walt Disney World has introduced a water park perk for visitors who book at a Disney Resort hotel in 2025. Admission on check-in day to one of the water parks — Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach — is included in their stay.”
Will you be going to Disney World in 2025? Let us know in the comments!
Wow so you get a free ticket to the water park what good is it you can’t check into your room till 4pm the water park closes at 6pm so you check in get changed take the buss which goes down town first then you have to transfer to another bus if your lucky you might get 1 whole hour in not a very good incentive to stay at Disney.
We plan on going with a family of 12 in 2025
It would be very disappointing if they raised prices that much and only make it available for the rich and not your ordinary average person
