Disney fans have much to look forward to as Disneyland progresses on the reimagined San Fransokyo Square area coming to the California Adventure Park in Anaheim. Disney has provided enthusiasts with new details on the development status, including fresh images and delectable upcoming food offerings.
Disneyland San Fransokyo Pacific Wharf Retheme
The San Fransokyo transformation has been in development for quite some time now. At the 2022 D23 Expo, fans were delighted to discover that the Pacific Wharf area of California Adventure would be entirely reimagined around the bustling city of San Fransokyo from the well-received and Academy Award-winning film Big Hero 6. Disney has assured Guests that the new venues with be opening soon, and with it comes a ton of new shops to explore and food to enjoy.
Meet Hiro and Baymax
Let’s start with the best part of San Fransokyo Square. Visitors can interact with Hiro Hamada and his huggable healthcare companion, Baymax, at the Hamada Bot Shop location. The spot will feature Big Hero 6 inventions and a store called San Fransokyo Maker’s Market, where you can find many unique things to collect. Disney makes a special mention of looking out for Hiro’s battlebot champion in the rafters! Not too far from this location, you can see the scenic San Fransokyo Bridge in all its glory.
Food Is an Important Part of Any Healthcare Routine
Disney has assured parkgoers that their favorite food options found in Pacific Wharf will also be available in this transformed location. On top of that, the area will have several new spots to find Asian cuisine and other menu additions.
By far, the most exciting new stop is Aunt Cass Café. This is where Guests can find assorted bakery goods, such as freshly-baked bread bowls filled with soup. Look out for a mural of Mochi the cat in this location, too!
Other stops include a margarita and beverage bar called Rita’s Turbine Blenders. Nearby you can still find the Cocina Cucamonga and Ghiradelli locations, complete with a bunch of new menu items to savor.
It won’t be long before San Fransokyo welcomes visitors to Disneyland’s California Adventure. This transformation is continued proof that The Walt Disney Company Imagineers are experts at theming.
