Disneyland Resort is known as The Happiest Place on Earth, and for good reason. Disneyland Park was Walt Disney’s dream brought to life and, since Walt has passed, the Park has gotten bigger. Disney California Adventure opened in 2001, just weeks after the Downtown Disney District also officially opened. The Happiest Place on Earth is now a place where Guests can go to enjoy classic attractions like “it’s a small world”, the Matterhorn, and the Haunted Mansion, in addition to new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
As many people know, a visit to a Disney theme park is a magical place where nothing bad can happen. Sometimes they even seem to forget that, even though it’s Disney, it’s still in the real world, and you have to act like you are in the real world. One such woman was given a harsh reminder of that fact when she recently visited Disney California Adventure.
According to a TikTok video posted by @itsamandag, a baby was alone and crying in its stroller for approximately 20 minutes. No parent could be found, and Disney Cast Members called security. While some thought that the woman may have been in the bathroom — since the stroller was parked just outside the bathroom — that was not the case. Amanda said that the woman eventually came back to her crying baby, with alcoholic drinks in her hand. That’s when she was confronted by security for leaving her baby.
She left! They couldnt find the mom and she came back like nothing 20 MINUTES LATER security was alerted and were waiting for her #disney #disneyland #disneycaliforniaadventure #dca #disneyworld @disneyparks this needs more than just a scold by security!!!
While most people were shocked and horrified by the woman’s actions, some people thought that Amanda was wrong and that the woman had, in fact, gone to the bathroom. However, Amanda posted a follow-up video, saying that she saw the woman with drinks in her hands. To make matters worse, the woman had a husband and other children. So, both parents made the decision to leave the baby alone in their stroller for an extended period of time.
Replying to @virgosun03 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ i have her on vudeo with her alcoholic drinks too. I more felt sad for the baby she was clearly in distress and needed to be comforted #disney #disneyland
While it is surprising to see an actual baby left alone in its stroller, it is not uncommon to see Guests leave everything from merchandise to purses and backpacks in their stroller when they go on rides. Neither one is recommended (especially leaving your baby). Disneyland and Disney California Adventure might be amazing places where dreams come true, but that does not mean bad things can’t happen. You don’t want to be one of those Guests who leaves your belongings unattended and then comes back to find them — or heaven forbid your child — gone.
