It’s not always easy to shop for Disney fans or Disney princess fans. Yes, there are a wide variety of Disney consumer products related to the Disney princeses; you’ve got Disney princess cookbooks, Disney princess makeup remover wipes, Disney princess jewelry, Disney princess bags, and more. There are even Disney princess candles! But if you’re shopping on shopDisney for a Disney fan who will love a product that’s elegant, luxurious, and magical — but unique enough to be really special — then the two new additions to shopDisney will be perfect choices for fans.

A beautiful limited-edition Mulan Doll and a limited-edition Ariel Doll have just been released as part of the ongoing Ultimate Princess Celebration! Both Disney princess characters cost $129.99; there are only 9,900 of the Mulan doll and 10,000 of the Ariel doll, and they each include a Certificate of Authenticity. They also come with their own display stands and “elegant window display packaging with [a] gatefold cover, foil decoration, and [a] magnetic closure”.

Both feature extravagant detailing and couture looks, which further adds to their expensive price tag! The Disney Designer Collection Princess Mulan Doll was designed by Danae Cendejas, and the Disney Designer Collection Princess Ariel Doll was designed by Ashley Losada.

Mulan is wearing a “detailed couture outfit” consisting of an “embroidered and gemmed sash, pants, and dramatic long sheer sleeves”. Accessories like her dragon head sash charm and the dragon details on her shoes, as well as her handbag, make this version of Mulan particularly glamorous.

This Mulan doll might also be appealing to tweens in this modern age, because her makeup and hairstyle are definitely more in keeping with the makeup trends of today than the makeup looks that Mulan wore in her original 1998 film or the live-action 2020 film!

This doll actually has “rooted eyelashes” and hair, making her feel even more realistic. She is sporting a “half updo adorned with hair sticks and [her] signature hair comb” as well as a dramatic smoky eye and burgundy lipstick.

The Little Mermaid Princess Ariel Doll is also wearing a high-fashion look; hers is a “detailed couture gown” that includes a “sequined ruffle skirt with [a] pleated tulle overlay, adorned with Aurora Borealis finish gems in [a] scale pattern” and a “tulle and pleated organza layered backpiece evoking the crash of the waves”. Ariel is also showing off a “mother of pearl finish” in her “beaded headdress, backpiece, purse, top, and shoes”.

Ironically, both of these Disney princesses were honored specifically during World Princess Week, which was one of the first events in the Ultimate Princess Celebration. Have you seen these new additions to shopDisney? There are also Princess Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel options. The holiday 2021 Princess Rapunzel doll (representing the Disney heroine played by Mandy Moore) is currently on sale for only $32.98, compared to the $129.99 price tag for all four other Princess Dolls, so she’d be a good choice if you want a cheaper doll for a Disney princess fan!

Would you like to see other Disney princess limited-edition dolls from shopDisney, such as dolls for Sleeping Beauty, Tiana (who was played by Anika Noni Rose), or the strong princesses and Disney heroines like Raya (who was voiced by Kelly Marie Tran)?
