Want Sustainable Face Wipes? Try These MakeUp Eraser x Disney Princess Face Cloths

These days, sustainability and minimalism are many people’s main focus in their wellness routines. As awareness about the wastefulness of fast fashion increases and pollution continues to worsen, many Disney fanatics may be trying to shift away from single-use products that create waste, and one area that’s easy to make more sustainable is skincare! MakeUp Eraser is a brand that’s known for its Original MakeUp Eraser one-and-done makeup remover face cloths. These cloths are made with a patented polyester blend that supposedly takes off everything from mascara to lipstick without anything but water. They’re washable, reusable, and they last a long time (meaning that one sustainable makeup wipe could save you money in the long run). Moreover, MakeUp Eraser has partnered up with Disney for the Ultimate Disney Princess Celebration–and now there’s a 7-Day Set of Disney Princess MakeUp Eraser cloths!

These cloths are apparently “ultra soft, dermatologist approved, & great for sensitive skin” because they don’t have any alcohol or astringents in them. The MakeUp Eraser website also says that you can “erase ALL makeup with just water…including waterproof mascara, eyeliner, foundation, lipstick, [and] more”! The makeup remover wipes have an exfoliating side and a cleansing side, as shown above on the Belle cloth, and they’re also a small enough size for removing eye makeup, removing a face mask, or applying toner. The exfoliating side can also be used to scrub your lips gently!

Part of the MakeUp Eraser’s success lies in the patented structure of its patented polyester cloth. According to the site, “millions of tiny hair-like fibers…work together to create a ‘suction’ for all dirt, makeup, & oil in your pores”. As previously mentioned, the antibacterial polyester cloth is “double-sided to erase makeup with the short fibers side & exfoliate the skin with the long fiber side”, and its suction cup effect from the fibers in the cloth helps you clean your skin well.

The Disney princesses featured in this 7-Day Set are Ariel, Tiana, Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Belle, and Jasmine. Each face cloth has also been matched with a day, although you could certainly use them in whichever order you’d like!

Makeup wipes are not only terrible for the environment — according to MakeUp Eraser’s site, “1.3 billion wipes are used daily & end up in our oceans with our friends, like Ariel”– but they’re also one more way to clutter your bathroom and your routine, so switching to a small set of reusable cloths might actually be a relief! Disney Princess Style is also a fan of the Original MakeUp Eraser, and advertised the Disney princess collection on Instagram with a post that recommended using the makeup remover to “wipe the day away” whether or not “the night ends at midnight or long before”.
