In the comments of the video, some fans agreed with the sentiment the video expressed. One fan shared, “He wrote in his book that if he was in danger he’d start mentioning Batman, that’s what he was doing on insta prior to his death.”

However, others were incredibly skeptical of the video, questioning its validity.

One asked, “Can’t someone just die without it being a conspiracy?”

Another agreed, “Why can’t a celebrity die a normal death lol? Why is it always connected to illuminati and satanic rituals? You all are really stupid. Especially the admin and the person making this video.”

However, some fans called out the inappropriate nature of the video, highlighting, “‘Mattman’ has nothing to do with satanism, it’s about his addiction. Let’s just.. not do this.. his family have barely had him back for a week.”

Matthew Perry’s struggle with drug addiction was one that he spoke about openly in the hopes that it might help another person who was also on a journey of recovery from the disease. He’d mentioned wanting to be remembered for helping other people rather than being a Hollywood star on television.

It’s also worth noting that the video shares a screenshot allegedly from the late actor’s Instagram that seems to have been fabricated, leading us at Disney Fanatic to believe that the video was created primarily to garner views on social media.
