While Guests are gearing up for a month of holiday and celebration at the Disney Parks, one at Disney World will be closing several hours earlier next year.
The holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are extraordinary. The Disney Resort and its four Disney Parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, are wonderful places to spend the holidays. From Mickey’s Very and the to the beautiful Christmas overlay that takes over the Disney Resort, it’s a magical place to spend a Disney vacation during this time of year.
However, many fans will agree that the Magic Kingdom is one of the most popular Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Park is home to rides like “Jungle Cruise,” “Haunted Mansion,” “Space Mountain,” and the soon-to-be remodeled “Splash Mountain.”
However, Guests visiting the Park early next year in January will factor in a change to the Park schedule in their itineraries.
When looking at the Park hours calendar, it appears that Magic Kingdom will shut its doors several hours early in January of next year. Notably, on January 31, 2023, Magic Kingdom will close at 4:30 p.m. While there has been no official announcement about why the Park is closing early, we can assume it is likely due to a special event for executives or Cast Members.
Magic Kingdom was the first Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park, with Cinderella Castle greeting Guests as they walk down Main Street, U.S.A. It’s a Park where you can “explore lands of endless enchantment” and “where your fantasy becomes a reality.”
We at Disney Fanatic will continue to report on all the latest news from Disney and the Disney Parks as it comes to light.
