You Won’t Believe What Halloween Attraction Disney Just Brought Back to EPCOT

As the Halloween season creeps in, Disney is beginning to transform its parks with autumnal charm. And while most of the attention tends to go to Magic Kingdom’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, EPCOT has a special seasonal offering that brings just as much magic—only in a quieter, more playful way.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is back for the 2025 season, starting September 2, and it continues to be one of the most wholesome experiences at Walt Disney World during the fall. This scavenger hunt isn’t a thrill ride or major show, but it’s exactly the kind of lighthearted fun that adds character (literally) to your day at EPCOT.

The concept is simple. Guests purchase a game board and set of stickers for $11.99 plus tax. These can be found at select retail spots like Creations Shop or Disney Traders. Once in hand, you’re off on a pumpkin hunt—searching for uniquely themed pumpkins styled after Disney characters. These are hidden throughout the park in areas like World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature. A few even make surprise appearances around World Showcase.

Each time you spot one of the pumpkins, you place the matching sticker on your game board. Whether you complete the entire hunt or only find a handful, you can redeem your board for a small but festive prize at designated locations. It’s a great way to explore areas of the park you might not have wandered into otherwise.

While the event does come with a slightly higher price tag this year and starts earlier than usual, it still represents one of the most charming seasonal add-ons at Walt Disney World. It’s especially great for families with younger children, couples looking for a relaxing activity, or anyone who appreciates Disney’s attention to detail during the holidays.

And if you’re planning to park-hop, don’t forget that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be running at Magic Kingdom on select nights through October 31. Pairing Pluto’s laid-back pumpkin scavenger hunt with Magic Kingdom’s costumed extravaganza is the ultimate way to celebrate Halloween Disney-style.

This fall, EPCOT isn’t just about food booths and fireworks—it’s about finding a little Halloween magic in the most unexpected places. And Pluto? He’s got a pumpkin or two waiting for you to find.

A frequent visitor of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, Andrew will likely be found freefalling on Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or enjoying Pirates of the Caribbean. Over at Universal, he'll be taking in the thrills of the Jurassic World Velocicoaster and Revenge of the Mummy
