The Walt Disney Company has recently dealt with some incredibly effective yet questionable images. These viral posters have set the internet ablaze, convincing people that the company is making certain films. While many have been quite innocent, others have been more volatile. Now, an Among Us Disney movie made by Pixar is starting to get the same popularity, and it’s totally “sus.”
A Disney and Pixar Among Us film would be extremely believable. The popularity of the Super Mario Bros. Movie by Universal and Illumination, and the success of The Last of Us on Max, has convinced Hollywood that video games are profitable. However, is an Among Us Disney movie actually in the works?
The Rise of Among Us
Among Us, developed by InnerSloth, skyrocketed to fame in 2020. The game is set in a space-themed environment and accommodates 4 to 10 players, each taking on one of two roles: Crewmates and Impostors. Its widespread appeal would definitely be a reason for an Among Us Disney movie.
Crewmates are the majority and have a simple objective: complete various tasks aboard the spaceship. They must also collaborate to identify the Impostors among them.
Impostors, on the other hand, are fewer in number but play a more devious role. Their primary goal is to sabotage the spaceship’s systems and eliminate Crewmates discreetly. They can move through vents and pretend to complete tasks.
The crux of the game lies in discussions and voting phases. During discussions, players openly share their observations, suspicions, and alibis to unmask the Impostors. Then, in a voting phase, players decide whom to eject from the spaceship, ideally an Impostor. The term “sus” gained significant popularity with this game. It is short for the suspect and is used to call out someone perceived as an Imposter.
If an Impostor is correctly ejected, the Crewmates win. However, they claim victory if the Impostors eliminate enough Crewmates or successfully sabotage the spaceship.
Among Us thrives on social deduction and deception, requiring players to employ analytical and communication skills to unveil Impostors or cleverly deceive others. The game’s engaging dynamics have fostered vibrant online communities and a dedicated player base, making it a beloved choice for gamers and content creators.
Among Us Disney Movie
Two major posters for a supposed Among Us Disney movie have been making the rounds on social media. The first appeared a few days ago and claims to be a new film made by Pixar. However, we at Disney Fanatic must inform you that the posters are fake.

A second more widely spread Among Us Disney movie poster appeared more recently. This one garnered more believability. Nevertheless, Disney and Pixar have not announced an Among Us film. Both of these posters are definitely made by artificial intelligence (AI). You can see in the company logos that something feels a little off.

An Among Us Disney and Pixar movie is definitely more believable than some of the other AI-generated posters that have been popping up. Recent questionable rumors that fooled people include a “Two Girls One Cup” film, a “Caust” movie based on the Holocaust, and even an animated biopic about the life of Chalino Sánchez.
Until Disney makes an official announcement, taking these images with a grain of salt is best. There is no collaboration as of now between Disney and Innersloth. Therefore, an Among Us Disney movie is not in the works.
