Popular Disney World Eatery Gets Mouthwatering Menu Makeover!

When thinking about where to dine during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, the options seem almost endless! There are nearly 400 places to choose from, and that includes everything from snacks to counter service and sit-down dining. With so many dining options, there is also a restaurant for every kind of craving. Walt Disney World Guests can enjoy cuisine from around the world, like Mexican, German, Italian, Japanese, American, and so much more. There are also a ton of options for those with specific dietary needs, including those with Kosher, vegan, and vegetarian diets.

A lot of people tend to focus on the four theme parks — Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios — or Disney Springs when they think about where they want to eat. However, restaurants at Disney World Resort hotels should never be discounted. In fact, Disney hotels have some of the best restaurants on property!

If you are thinking of grabbing something quick before starting your day of Disney fun, then you should definitely consider The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is located in the Disney Springs area of Disney World and transports Guests to New York in the late 1800s, when horse racing and spas dominated.

The Artist’s Palette recently received a menu makeover and is offering some incredible new dishes. Let’s take a look at the new indulgences!

Breakfast

Avocado Toast – made with avocado, cherry tomatoes, radish, pickled red onions, arugula, and aïoli on toasted sunflower bread

French Toast Strata – a combination of French Toast and Bread Pudding, served with crème anglaise, blueberries, and a choice of bacon or sausage

Lunch/Dinner

Margherita Pizza – this pizza has been on the menu, but has been updated to now feature mozzarella, fresh pizza sauce, and basil pistou on house-made pizza dough

Meatloaf – served with Guest’s choice of two sides, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, roasted rainbow carrots, steamed white rice, or edamame succotash

Sautéed Garlic Shrimp – served with Guest’s choice of two sides, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, roasted rainbow carrots, steamed white rice, or edamame succotash

Herb-Roasted Chicken – served with Guest’s choice of two sides, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, roasted rainbow carrots, steamed white rice, or edamame succotash

Dessert

Derby Day Pie – featuring a pie shell with chocolate-nut filling topped with buttercream and horseshoe cookie decoration

Artist’s Palette Cookie – a delicious sugar cookie topped with icing “paint” and a strawberry stick serving as the paintbrush

Grab-and-Go

Beef on Weck – a classic New York sandwich, made with sliced brisket and horseradish cream on a caraway brioche bun served with au jus and Saratoga chips

Tuna Salad – served on toasted sunflower bread with Saratoga chips

Turkey BLT – topped with house-made pimento cheese and served with Saratoga chips

Charcuterie Board – served with Chef’s selection of cheeses, cured meats, and accompaniments like grapes, dried fruit, and crackers

These scrumptious new items hit the menu on August 9, so head over to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and try some out today! Saratoga Springs is not too far from Disney Springs and the walk is gorgeous and relaxing. Guests visiting Disney Springs can also take a bus to and from the hotel.
