On July 27, Walt Disney World’s International Food & Wine Festival will kick off at EPCOT. The popular event will last an incredible 15 weeks, and will feature nearly 30 food booths from around the world. Guests will be able to stroll around World Showcase Lagoon and taste a variety of dishes from countries like Ireland, India, Australia, Spain, Greece, Belgium, and so many more. There will also be a ton of fun events, like Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, Emile’s Fromage Montage, and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series happens several times per day throughout the entirety of the festival. The concerts are put on by classic bands — like 38 Special, Air Supply, Boyz II Men, and 98° — as well as local bands that Guests are sure to love. Each year, there are new bands added to the list, and this year, the Bacon Brothers were set to perform. The Bacon Brothers are a band featuring superstar Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael. They were set to perform at EPCOT on August 13 and 14.
Unfortunately, if you were hoping to head to EPCOT to catch one of the shows, we have some bad news for you. Disney has updated its Eat to the Beat Concert Series page, and the Bacon Brothers have been removed from the lineup. The site now reads that the performers for those dates are To Be Announced.
Neither Disney nor The Bacon Brothers have shared why the band had to pull out of its EPCOT shows. The brothers will be touring the country from the end of August through mid-November.
