Fans of Disney’s water parks rejoice! Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be reopening soon, and we know when, too!
Every Disney fan is used to closures; for better or for worse, they are part of the Disney experience. But there is often a happy flipside to closures, and that is when either attractions or a Disney park reopen again—and that’s precisely the kind of news we have for you today!

Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Reopens this March!
Per the latest news, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park will be reopening this spring once again at the Walt Disney World Resort. The water park will officially open its doors on March 17.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has been closed since November 2023, which is when its sister water park, Blizzard Beach, reopened.

Blizzard Beach Closes as Typhoon Lagoon Reopens
One thing to note is that Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will be closing as Typhoon Lagoon reopens once again.
However, since Typhoon Lagoon is reopening, guests can soothe their icy sadness by enjoying the park’s incredible surf pool, floating down Castaway Creek, and plunging down Mount Mayday.

At this point, it’s unknown when Disney’s Blizzard Beach will reopen once more; however, this pattern of one water park closing while the other undergoes refurbishment is one Disney has put in a place for a while now, so guests of the Central Florida resort are likely used to it!
