Celebrating Its Return, Disney’s ‘Fantasmic!’ Gets a Standing Ovation

After a two-year-long hiatus, Disney’s “Fantasmic!” is returning this month, and the show got a standing ovation during its preview.

There’s nothing quite like a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort show. Whether its a parade like “Festival of Fantasy,” or a nighttime spectacular like “Disney Enchantment” or “Harmonious“, or any of the other wonderful attractions that a Disney Park offers, Guests love to take in the experience of witnessing and enjoying these offerings during their Disney vacation.

But none have been as beloved or as eagerly awaited as the return of “Fantasmic!”

Located inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios Theme Park on Sunset Boulevard near Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, the show has been temporarily unavailable for two years, and it’s finally back on November 3. Disney fans are delighted at its return, especially with a new and improved line-up featuring new characters from new movies, including Moana, Frozen 2, Mulan, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King.

While the official return for Guests and fans is November 3, Cast Members got a special preview of the show. And they loved it. So much so that they gave the show a standing ovation.

The audience in the video is thrilled at what they just saw, and the energy is palpable. Waybright said, “Standing ovation for the first showing of Fantasmic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! A cast member preview was offered to CMs at Hollywood Studios. #DisneyCastLife.”

 Per another user in the thread, @jameslaniro, there is also “a second cast preview tomorrow, also a media preview, and the cast member preview tomorrow was a raffle so it’s random for who won.”
