Destination D23 is returning this year, and Disney has officially announced the dates and location for the highly-anticipated event.
After the incredible success of the D23 Expo earlier this year in Anaheim, Southern California, Disney fans have more to celebrate and look forward to yet again. It looks like Disney’s pulling out all the stops to celebrate its 100th anniversary. As part of the company’s 100 Years of Wonder celebration, the “biggest Disney fan event” — D23 — returns to “The Most Magical Place on Earth” in 2023. D23 will celebrate Disney fans from coast to coast to honor the company’s 100th anniversary.

The event will be held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort from September 8-10. Those fans who choose to attend will be the first to hear exciting announcements, sneak peeks, and relive favorite Disney memories. Along with this, Disney fans can expect to see special guests and hear some behind-the-scenes stories.

Along with this announcement, D23 also took to their official blog to share the slate of other coast-to-coast events. Here are some highlights:
DISNEY 100: In addition to a spectacular Destination D23 event, members will be among the first to see Disney100: The Exhibition when it makes its global premiere at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this February. Plus, D23 will invite members to The Walt Disney Studios Lot for an exclusive event in honor of 100 years of beloved Disney stories and characters.
THE WALT DISNEY STUDIOS OFFICIAL TOUR – PRESENTED BY D23: D23 welcomes guests to The Walt Disney Studios Lot, giving members the opportunity to visit the world-famous studio in Burbank, California.
FAN-FAVORITE MILESTONE ANNIVERSARIES: D23 will celebrate several milestone anniversaries with in-person events in 2023 for fan-favorite films.
