Disney’s 100th-anniversary celebrations are coming up, and Mickey and Minnie Mouse will debut all-new outfits for it!
The Walt Disney Company is coming on a significant milestone soon—their 100th anniversary, officially being celebrated as 100 Years of Wonder. During the D23 Expo, Disney promised fans an extensive celebration with unique attractions debuting just to mark this momentous occasion. Fans were thrilled, to say the least.

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, shared some exciting details at the D23 Expo about what fans could expect from the upcoming celebrations.
D’Amaro shared that Guests could expect to see platinum blue details all around Disneyland Park, Downtown Disney, and Disney California Adventure Park. He added that Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse would debut special 100th-anniversary outfits. Mickey and Minnie also debuted new outfits for 100 Years of Wonder at a different D23 Expo panel, and D’Amaro didn’t specify if Mickey and Minnie’s new outfits would be the same as those or would be new.
The costumes that Mickey and Minnie debuted at D23 were sparkling silver and royal blue. Minnie wore a layered dress, while Mickey wore a suit with tails.

The ultimate fan event, D23 Expo brought many exciting updates to Disney fans, not the least of which included first looks of the live actions for The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan and Wendy, Hocus Pocus 2, Haunted Mansion, and a whole host of new original series, and films from Disney and Pixar. (Fans should keep their eyes peeled for Inside Out 2, among others.)

Disney fans also heard about new expansions, rethemes, and developments in the Disney Parks, including Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort and both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland Resort.
