The near perfection of Disney’s formula has resulted in a finely tuned guest experience across all its parks. This includes the Walt Disney World Resort with its Magic Kingdom Park and international locations such as Disneyland Paris Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, and the Tokyo Disney Resort.

Disney’s Costumed Characters
Costumed characters such as Mickey Mouse are pivotal in creating the magical atmosphere that defines the Disney experience. Their interactions with park guests elevate the overall experience, making character meet-and-greets one of the most sought-after activities when visiting the parks.
Yet, despite Disney’s commitment to sanitizing wholesome family fun, Disney’s parks aren’t immune to incidents of an inappropriate nature.

Cast Member Sexually Assaults Minnie Mouse
User @shoe_ma posted a video of the incident, where a cast member dressed as a reindeer during the Disney Christmas parade openly lifted Minnie Mouse’s skirt.

The video depicts the cast member brazenly walking up to the float barrier where Minnie Mouse is. Next, they flip up her skirt, to which the actor appears somewhat surprised, continuing to perform in character.

This incident resulted in a ton of shock from Disney fans and members of the public. Many have chimed in on X (formerly Twitter), commenting on the inappropriate sexual assault of the beloved Disney character.

Meanwhile, other individuals say this was a “prank” and part of the cast member putting on a “cheeky act” in character. However, it appears that the majority of people believe it was an act of sexual harassment.
Users like @momiziharari00 expressed disdain and disappointment, stating that regardless, this is not a sight appropriate at a Disney park:

It is important to note that behind these characters are real people. Although the character of Minnie Mouse may not be harmed, there is still a real actor under the costume. One who may have felt very uncomfortable over the incident, which may have served an implication directed at the cast member inside the costume.
