Cast Member Surprises Family During Disney Park Visit

A Disney Guest shared a wonderful moment that they and their family were treated to because of a Disney Park Cast Member.

The Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are incredible destinations for a Disney vacation. Walt Disney World is home to four incredible Theme Parks—Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Disney Resort and each Disney Park have Guests flocking to them for a magical Disney experience. The Parks have myriad rides and attractions that make them a “must-visit.”

Many fans would agree that the heart of the Disney experience are the Disney Cast Members. These hard-working Cast Members put a lot of effort into making sure Guests can enjoy their time at the Parks so that the Disneyland Resort can live up to its moniker of “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

One Disney Guest and Reddit user, u/go4mikey, shared a heart-warming experience when a Cast Member made their day during their latest Disneyland visit with their daughters.

The user shared,

Just returned from 2 days at Disney and 1 cast member made it especially great trip. I saw a several entitled people giving grief to cast members through out the trip. I have no idea how they can stay cheerful. I have to say thanks to Mike for making the moment that made the trip amazing. The girls 4 and 5-1/2 wanted to see the parade so we went and picked out spot near small world after seeing the lighting of it.

I asked one of the cast members if this was the beginning or the end and without missing a beat “of times” was his response. Now after a day of disney with 2 young girls this comedic moment was enough to make my day. 

The Guest pointed out many Guests had been rude and entitled, and the Cast Members had continued to stay cheerful to other Guests despite this. After sharing the comedic interlude they had with a Cast Member, the Guest went on to explain that the Cast Member, Mike, also then noticed that the Guest and their two daughters were not in a great spot to watch the parade and found them a better one.

The Guest added, “Then during the parade I notice him behind us attracting the attention of some the princesses and mickey to wave directly at the girls. The smiles and glee on their faces was amazing.”

As the Guest themselves said, that is “true Disney magic.” It’s always heartening to hear about these wonderful stories of Cast Members living up to their well-deserved reputation.
