Elon Musk is taking shots at the Walt Disney Company and Disney CEO Bob Iger once again with a tweet that sent many into a tizzy.

In recent times, Disney has found itself in an unexpected feud with none other than the highly influential billionaire, owner of SpaceX, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The clash between Musk and Disney has been fueled by Musk’s vocal criticisms of Disney’s latest “woke” agenda.

Musk’s public comments against Disney’s strategic direction have not gone unnoticed, as he stands firm in his disapproval of the entertainment giant’s recent initiatives.

Elon Musk’s discontent with Disney’s perceived agenda has not been without its controversies. A notable instance of Musk’s defiance against Disney was his public support for Gina Carano, the former star of the hit series The Mandalorian, who was let go by Disney over controversial social media posts.

Musk’s backing of Carano extended to him actively supporting her legal battle against Disney, setting the stage for a high-profile showdown between the tech mogul and the entertainment powerhouse.

Needless to say, he’s made his feelings about Disney more than clear.

However, in a humorous turn of events, on April 1st, April Fool’s Day, Mr. Musk took to X, formerly Twitter, with a post that sent the internet into a tailspin. Mr. Musk wrote on X, formerly Twitter,

Excited to join @Disney as their Chief DEI Officer. Can’t wait to work with Bob Iger & Kathleen Kennedy to make their content MORE woke! Even the linguini.

In the few hours since Mr. Musk published his post, it garnered over 1.4 million views, with quickly increasing numbers. It also saw numerous likes and reposts.

Fans were incredibly tickled by the notion that Mr. Musk, in all his “anti-woke” and anti-Disney glory, would step into the role of Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for the Walt Disney Company and work on making Disney’s content “more woke.”

Many fans took the opportunity to respond in the obviously intended humorous nature. One wrote, You joining as ‘CWO – Chief Woke Officer’ ?”

The Elon Musk (Parody) added, Sorry guys, posted this from the wrong account,” to which Mr. Musk himself responded with a laughing emoji.

Another wrote, Elon, thank you for bringing advanced science and technology to Earth. You are the kindest alien I have ever seen. Please take over Disney and put it on the right track. @elonmusk

It’s undeniably another playful jab at the Mouse House, yet it aligns perfectly with the lighthearted and mischievous nature of an April Fool’s Day joke.

Elon Musk, having built a reputation as an eccentric CEO and visionary behind Tesla and SpaceX, seems to have orchestrated a creative and humor-infused way to engage with the public through this whimsical stunt and is one that resonated with a notably large subset of Disney fans.
