Disney Offers Private Annual Passholders’ Showing of Fantasmic!

If you are a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, or a Disney fan who has been eagerly awaiting the chance to buy or renew Annual Passes, then you already know that Disney World has put Annual Passholders through the wringer lately (particularly after Disney accidentally posted an incorrect announcement about Annual Passes earlier this year).

However, it looks like things might be looking up for Annual Passholders! Walt Disney World Resort is offering a special treat for them (and you, if you are an Annual Passholder yourself) in the form of an exclusive private showing — and the showing in question is one of the most in-demand Disney World shows that there is!

According to journalist Scott Gustin, “Walt Disney World has announced a special showing of Fantasmic! tonight at 9:30pm exclusively for Annual Passholders.”

Gustin shared a screenshot from the Walt Disney World Resort website in the Tweet shown below, showing that there will be a special 9:30 p.m. showing of Fantasmic! for Annual Passholders in Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight (November12).

The new rendition of Fantasmic! has been a long time coming, and features new additions like Mulan, Moana, Pocahontas, Aladdin, and the Disney princess Elsa! The classic story featuring Mickey Mouse and his fight against the Sleeping Beauty villain Maleficent is also present, of course, as are the show’s impressive pyrotechnics, water effects, and lighting effects.

Disney certainly seems to be aware of the negative sentiments that have been emanating from Annual Passholders lately — not to mention the negative press surrounding Disney all around these days. The announcement includes the following: “This is a surprise to say thank you to our Annual Passholders”.

If you’re headed to Hollywood Studios tonight for this 9:30 p.m. showing of Fantasmic!, you will obviously want to get to the Disney Park early. Head to the Disney Park entrance or Pixar Avenue as early as 6 p.m., and check in at the “Fantasmic! Viewing Check-In” locations to get the necessary wristband! Your Annual Pass and valid “government-issued photo ID” will be needed, and you can head into the show’s area as early as 9 p.m.
