Of these stars, one has recently been in the news more than others because of how recently he decided to take up this career change. We’re talking, of course, of Dan Benson, the star who starred in Wizards of Waverly Place.

What Disney show was Dan Benson on?
The 36-year-old adult entertainer was beloved for his role as Justin’s best friend, Zeke Beakerman, on the show. He appeared in 32 episodes of the Emmy Award-winning show.
Benson, in his own words, “tripped and fell” into adult entertainment. During his time as Zeke Beakerman on the Selena Gomez-starrer, he frequently received sexually explicit and nude photos from women. Benson sometimes responded with his own nude photos, which he later found out were posted on the internet without his permission.
Deciding to take charge of this, Benson decided to commit to a foray into adult entertainment… until Disney announced that Wizards of Waverly Place would be getting a sequel. Check out his reaction:

Former Disney Star Dan Benson Expresses Regret Over Career Change
In the video, Benson exclaims, “Are you kidding me? They just announced today that they’re bringing back ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ as a sequel. Are you kidding me?”
He lamented, “I mean, well, it’s hype, but oh well. Oh, what have I done?”
With a laugh, the star reflected on how he waited for 13 years for this hit show to make a comeback, but it happened after he took up porn as a career. He commented: “’Now that Dan is a porn star, let’s reboot Wizards again.’ You guys are the worst.”

As fans know, Disney would never knowingly hire a porn star because that would simply not fit in with their family-friendly image, which means Benson will likely never be able to star on any Disney show again.
