If you’re trying to book a Disney vacation tonight, you may be out of luck! According to journalist Ashley Carter, the Walt Disney World Resort website is down for the count.
“Ducking Out” of Disney World’s Website
“The Disney World website is experiencing technical issues,” Ashley Carter shared on Twitter in the Tweet shown below. “A notice has been added to the website saying some of Disney’s digital experiences ‘may be unavailable at this time.’ This is what appeared when I clicked on tickets and passes.”

As usual, Disney World has chosen to use a popular Disney character on its error pages — in this case, Donald Duck, accompanied by a pun about “ducking out” of the interaction.
Unfortunately, a pun and an image of Donald Duck will not appease the Florida establishment’s frustrated prospective customers!
We have already seen multiple reports from Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort Guests about how confusing and infuriating it can be to book a Disney vacation these days — and we have even heard travel experts lambast Disney for its roundabout reservation system, calling the entire process “insanely” difficult — so glitches like these only make Disney’s group of dissatisfied customers larger!
Could This Glitch Be Worse?
However, this error could be far worse. After all, we have seen glitches involving highly-anticipated offerings like Annual Passes in the past that happened just as Disney World Guests were clamoring for new Annual Passes, so this website error is not coming at quite as inconvenient a time!
It’s also summertime, and if there is one thing that seasoned Disney Resort Guests know, it is that a summer vacation in Disney World is a bad idea — so perhaps Disney World’s website glitch won’t throw off too many prospective visitors on this summer evening.
Sometimes Disney’s technology errors or IT glitches are very upsetting setbacks (such as the Annual Pass error that was previously mentioned), and sometimes these glitches cause mildly amusing and only mildly-inconveniencing challenges like the error a while ago that placed a Stitch Meet and Greet in a parking lot!
Is This the Final Straw?
If you were planning on acquiring some Disney World tickets or passes, and you came across this glitch, would you be annoyed enough to change your vacation destination and try something new — or are you an ardent Disney fan who would insist on having your Disney vacation, even if it meant hours of refreshing the Disney World webpage?
