Disney has just announced preview dates for Annual Passholders who might want to check out Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
One of the best parts about being an Annual Passholder at the Walt Disney World Resort is how the Central Florida Disney Park practically becomes like your own personal playground and backyard. Depending on which tier you choose, you can frequent the parks to different degrees and enjoy the various offerings in the form of attractions, rides, and even entire lands like Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
One such attraction that is set to open this year is finally opening for Passholder Previews soon! Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in EPCOT, will be getting Passholder Previews from September 24 through September 29 and October 1 through October 4.
Journalist Scott Gustin took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share the news, highlighting the detail from Disney that “Registration will not be required for this event. Passholders with a theme Park reservation to EPCOT will be able to check-in and join the standby queue during normal operating hours (subject to capacity).”

The preview experience will allow guests to connect with water in “new and unexpected ways” through the attraction and discover the “importance and beauty of this living, everflowing, invaluable part of nature.”
The attraction is located in World Nature and takes guests through the water cycle, and reminds us of the connection we share with water, and the power we have to protect it.
Annual Passholders interested in previewing this attraction should note the following:
- Check-in for the preview will take place at the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana entrance, across from the Coral Reef Restaurant in World Nature.
- Passholders who enter EPCOT without a theme park reservation on a preview date will not be eligible to participate in the preview.
- Limit: one preview per Passholder.
Guests have been waiting for the Moana-themed attraction for months now, especially with the Te Fiti statue finding its home in Walt Disney World, so we’re certain they will be lining up to check out this exciting new addition to EPCOT.
