The Disney Parks have been on the receiving end of many negative reviews, backlash for the state of the Parks, and even Cast Member behavior.
The Disney Parks have not had the easiest time lately. With numerous reports of Guests misbehaving at the Parks, and the Disney Parks themselves, be those ones in Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, not keeping up to par, the Walt Disney Company certainly has a lot to work on to fix the situation they presently find themselves in.

However, while coverage of Guests’ unhappiness with the Parks has increased, one Disney fan found themselves on the receiving end of unexpected backlash themselves. The fan took to the social media platform, Reddit, to share their experience at the Disneyland Resort, even going so far as to say they “wasted money” on the trip.
But fellow fans and Guests were having none of it.
Reddit user u/Morphumax101 opened the discussion by sharing their unfortunate experience at the Disneyland Resort. However, fans were not particularly impressed when they asked if anyone else had been disappointed by their time at the Southern California Disney Resort.
U/chickybabe332 admonished them, “I was worried that based on this sub, that the parks were on the verge of collapse or something. Meanwhile my two trips these last few weeks have been great. Staff has been excellent (mostly), and while some rides were down, it didn’t seem any worse than pre Covid. Some people just like to complain no matter what.”
Another user even brought up their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida, seconding this sentiment,
I went to WDW 2 weeks ago, worried about everyone saying that the magic is gone and the cast members have been terrible… but I had a great time everyone was wonderful! PS I don’t blame cast members being terrible if they were because they don’t get paid enough to be making as much magic has they are asked to do. Especially if people come to the parks thinking they can be jerks to cast members….
u/MasterpieceWaste23 summed up the general consensus on the thread. “The magic [is] still very alive.”
