There are a lot of amazing things to experience when you visit a Disney theme park, from great food, fun attractions, and exclusive merchandise. However, one of the best things about a Disney Park isn’t the food, the rides, the characters, or the merch. No, one of the best things about Disney is the parades and nighttime spectaculars. Guests visiting Disneyland Resort can experience the Magic Happens parade during the day and Fantasmic!, Wondrous Journeys, or World of Color at night. Walt Disney World Resort offers Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios and Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom. Guests can also enjoy the Festival of Fantasy Parade during their Magic Kingdom day.

If Guests head overseas and visit the Disneyland Paris Resort, they can enjoy a drone show at night and Disneyland Stars on Parade during the day. The Disneyland Stars on Parade features some of your favorite Disney characters, including Elsa, Woody, Buzz, Rafiki, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and so many more. In addition to all the characters, the parade is full of stunning floats and great music that will have you singing and dancing all day long.

Unfortunately, Guests visiting Disneyland Paris Resort on May 12 didn’t have the experience they were hoping for. For popular shows, Guests tend to find their spots early, so they can have prime viewing. Guests waited patiently for the Stars on Parade to begin. However, just before the show was supposed to start, they were informed that the parade had been canceled.

According to DLP Report on Twitter, the parade was canceled because Disneyland Paris Cast Members had gone on strike.

Disney Stars on Parade has been canceled at the last minute today due to a Cast Member strike action.

According to reports, Disneyland Paris Cast Members are upset that Disney has brought in new performers and is paying them more than the Cast Members who have been there for a while and are doing the same job.

This is not the first time that Disneyland Paris Cast Members have gone on strike. Just a few months ago, the Dream… And Shine Brighter parade was also canceled because the Cast Members went on strike. The Disneyland Paris Cast Members aren’t the only people in France striking. People all around the country are upset about a new bill that would raise the retirement age from 62 to 64.
