Emergency Alert: Perp on the Loose at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A law enforcement response at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Wednesday afternoon has become the latest incident drawing attention from guests and local observers who track real-time scanner activity around Walt Disney World Resort. While officials have released very few details, reports indicate that an unauthorized individual was inside the park, prompting an immediate response from authorities.

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on November 26, the X account @WDWActiveCrime, which monitors police scanner activity in the Disney area, reported an alert referencing a “trespasser” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The call did not specify whether the individual had entered the park without a ticket, violated a previous trespass notice, or broken rules that led security to request law enforcement coordination.

The report also did not indicate whether the individual was located or detained, only that deputies had been dispatched to the scene. Disney did not notify guests inside the park, and no operational impacts or area closures were reported during the response.

What “Trespasser” Can Mean at Walt Disney World Resort

In Disney terminology, a trespasser can refer to a range of situations. It could involve someone entering a theme park without a valid ticket, a previously banned guest returning to the property, or even a rule-breaking guest whose behavior escalates to the level of ejection. When a guest is “trespassed” by Disney security, they are banned from all Walt Disney World Resort property, including theme parks, hotels, water parks, and Disney Springs.

These bans may last anywhere from a single day to a lifetime and are often enforced by deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, who are stationed throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Because the specifics of Wednesday’s incident remain unknown, it is unclear whether the alert involved a newly issued trespass notice or an individual who had already been banned from the property.

As with most incidents involving disorderly conduct or park rule violations, additional details are unlikely to be available unless law enforcement later files a public report. Scanner notifications often capture the initial alert but not the outcome, and unless the incident involves criminal activity or public endangerment, authorities typically do not provide updates.
