“Just Be Honest”: Disney Fans Express Frustration With Lack of Transparency from Resort Hotels

The Disney Resort hotels are known to be part of that magical Disney experience, but recently fans expressed frustrations with the lack of transparency in their communication.

A lot of recent news has been relatively critical of the Walt Disney Company. From commentators and fans calling out a recent show for “anti-white propaganda,” more fans have spoken about the bullying of a subset of Disney Guests at the Disney Parks, and yet others have called out the Mouse House for the current situation with the union rejecting Walt Disney World’s contract offer.

In the latest set of complaints with the Mouse House and, in particular, the Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida, some Disney Park Guests feel like the Disney Parks need to be more honest in their communication. Disney Guest valerie citro-geraci shared on the social media platform, Twitter:

As Disney Fanatics can see in the photo, the Guest shared an email communication they received from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa that shares the Resort hotel will be undergoing renovations during the Guest’s stay, and the Guest should expect some amount of construction noise. However, as the Guest pointed out in their tweet, the email was lacking. As they asked, “details please to make a more informed decision on whether or not we should move to another resort??”

Of course, it goes without saying that renovations at the Disney Parks and hotels are necessary, especially with recent reports of various Resort hotels on property at the Walt Disney World Resort (Disney’s Contemporary Resort) having a whole host of issues. Regardless, while the official Disney Parks Twitter account has not responded publically to the tweet, here’s hoping the Guest gains some clarity on the situation!
