A Disney Guest reported that he was “yelled at” by Cast Members and fellow fans for taking a photo at a Disney Park.

The Walt Disney World Resort with its four Parks—Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios—and the Disneyland Resort—with Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure—are known to be some of the most accepting and inclusive places on Earth and are wonderful places that hold the values of the Disney community. They’re the perfect places to taste that Disney experience and enjoy the Disney magic.

While at the Disney Parks, Guests love the chance to document their trip and visit. The Parks are known to be immersive and completely magical, so it makes sense that Guests would want the chance to relive that even after their Disney vacation is over.  However, it appears recently one Guest didn’t have the easiest time getting a photo of the Disneyland Park Sleeping Beauty Castle. Disney Guest and Twitter user Matt,, shared:

But rather than sympathy, if that’s what Matt was expecting at all, Guests were quick to point out that Matt might have broken some rules and put himself or others in a risky situation. Disney fans were quick to point out that this area is cleared as a walkway ahead of Disneyland’s fireworks for Guest safety. @CallDougMarsh wrote:

So… no context for why you were “yelled at?” Let me guess— you stopped in an active walkway just before fireworks and held up traffic so you could get your “perfect shot?” And some cast member had to ask you to move along with all the rest of the guests. Or is that not it?

@FiBelleFi seconded that opinion, informing Matt that this area is an active walkway:

While getting the perfect shot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, especially during the holiday season, is a wonderful opportunity, it’s essential to follow all Disney Cast Members instructions when visiting the Disney Parks, to keep yourself and your fellow Guests safe.

We at Disney Fanatic will continue to report on all Disney news as it comes to light.
