After a striking debut at EPCOT last year during the International Festival of the Arts, the infamous Figment Popcorn Bucket is back.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is back from January 13 through February 20, 2023. Along with it, one infamous piece of merchandise that has caused quite a stir has also returned. Last year, Walt Disney World announced the release of a brand new popcorn bucket on DisneyParks TikTok, stating that it would be sold while supplies last and would allow Guests to only purchase two at a time—though there was little enforcement of that rule.

The Figment popcorn bucket was only sold for EPCOT’s of the Arts and is the latest in sold throughout the Disney Parks. These popcorn buckets offer Guests the opportunity to get refills for as low as $2 for the entirety of the trip (or several months for Annual Passholders). After being announced for the first time last year by Disney Parks TikTok, the popcorn bucket made its presence known, with fans forming a whopping several-hour-long line just to get a hold of the limited edition merch.
The Figment popcorn bucket is back this year, as Disney Parks took to their TikTok to announce, and journalist Scott Gustin also reported on Twitter.

While many fans stood in line for hours to get their hands on this limited edition merchandise, it was also almost immediately sold on eBay for an insane markup. With Disney starting to crack down on unofficial merchandising and some Disney Parks even banning the reselling of merchandise, it remains to be seen how popular the bucket will be this year and how fans will respond.

Many fans took the opportunity to humorously recall the previous year’s events and hype surrounding the popcorn bucket at the Disney Theme Park. As Disney fan @My_Echo4 said, “God help us all.”
Another fan, @FLChimichanga, added, “I have an extra one who wants it !!”
