Disney is great at producing a lot of great content, especially when it comes to children's programming. On both The Disney Channel and Disney+, there is a ton of great programming for kids. Let's be honest, on Disney+ there is a ton of great programming for audiences of all ages. However, one of the most successful shows on Disney+ isn't a Disney-owned show. In fact, it's the Australian show Bluey. Disney obtained the broadcasting rights to Bluey in 2019 and the Disney-lovers just can't get enough.

On May 17, Disney CFO Christine McCarthy spoke at the SBV MoffettNathanson Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. During that time, she said that Disney will be taking a deeper look at consumer data from Disney+. Disney will then take that data and pass it to the Imagineers, as a way to “better inform our creatives and Imagineers”. In turn, Disney creatives will use the data to come up with new and exciting ideas for Disney's global theme parks, based on what Disney fans love.
With that in mind, could Bluey be coming to Disney Parks sometime in the near future?

Not long after McCarthy spoke at the conference, theme park reporter Scott Gustin shared images of the most popular films and television shows on Disney+. Bluey outperformed every Disney show, including the popular Disney+ original, The Mandalorian. On the film side, Disney's hit 2016 film Moana is still dominating the charts. Moana is closely followed by the 2021 film Encanto.
Earlier today Disney CFO Christine McCarthy said “consumer data” from Disney+ will “better inform our creatives and Imagineers” when making decisions about theme parks.

Now, as many of our readers may know, Disney Imagineers are currently putting the finishing touches on EPCOT's newest attraction — Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. So, clearly, Disney is interested in bringing IP that Guests love to the Parks. Encanto creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has also confirmed that an Encanto-themed attraction was in the works as well.
So, with Bluey being so beloved by Disney+ viewers, is it possible that Disney is working with Ludo Studio — the studio that owns Bluey — to bring the adorable Australian Shepherd to the Parks? Disney has not commented on the possibility, but, if what McCarthy said is true, then it seems that it is only a matter of time before the Australian pup comes to a Disney Park!
