We get it. Waiting in line for a Disney ride can be an exercise in patience. Popular attractions often have wait times spanning ridiculous hours. However, when you have to go, you have to go. While Disney tries its best to accommodate its guests with bathrooms along the queue, some guests apparently are okay with resorting to a more primal instinct. We’ve heard of fights breaking out and medical emergencies in line, but we never expected to learn someone would take a dump on the ground and leave it while waiting in a Disney ride queue!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Incident

The initial incident that sparked this feces rebellion happened in line for one of Walt Disney World’s most popular attractions. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a groundbreaking attraction that immerses guests in the heart of the Star Wars universe. The ride is the pinnacle experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a land themed after the galaxy far, far away. From the queue, you become a part of the Resistance on a vital mission to confront the First Order. The ride seamlessly combines advanced technology, lifelike animatronics, and stunning effects for an unparalleled experience.

Guests encounter characters like Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren while facing life-sized AT-AT walkers and Stormtroopers. The trackless ride vehicles provide a dynamic adventure as you navigate intense battles and daring escapes. Guests love the attraction because the queue is just as much an adventure as the ride. However, it goes without saying that human feces is not supposed to be a part of this immersive galactic experience.

Poop in Disney Ride Queue

A park visitor recently visited the r/WaltDisneyWorld subreddit to report some “weird stuff.” The guest alleged that some parents allowed their child to defecate on the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance queue line floor. Furthermore, the parents simply left it there and walked away! We think we speak for everyone when we say, “GROSS!”

I am in the queue for RotR – someone let their kid take a dump on the floor and then they just walked out and left it- WTF?

However, this excrement tale gets even worse! A cast member seemingly confirmed that this was only one of three feces-related incidents at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in a single day! The employee stated that they actually were working the ride that day and witnessed all three stinky occurrences.

For the skeptics… this actually happened. Fun fact: this was one of 3 shit-related incidents at Rise today. Less fun fact: I was here for all 3 of them.

Another cast member revealed that bodily waste incidents are reportedly all too common and not unusual at Disney World. The worker even said that parents would tell their kids to go to the bathroom in line even when a restroom was visibly close.

As a former CM, that’s not unusual, sad to say. We had people tell their kids to go potty behind our stand, even when the bathroom was across the way.

Additional custodial cast members also brought their own poop-related experiences to the discussion. Sadly, it seems that some parents do not know proper bathroom etiquette when visiting Disney World. Other guests even chimed in with multiple stories surrounding incidents involving feces, urine, and even vomit at the theme park. However, most of these recollections involved Disney quickly addressing the issues and removing the waste. Nevertheless, it still sounds disgusting.

We shouldn’t have to remind people that public defecation is never justified, but accidents can occur. The situation is just an extremely disturbing and smelly experience for all involved. Disney provides plenty of bathrooms around the park and in queues. Please don’t be like these parents and teach your kids proper behavior. Furthermore, address the situation if an accident happens. Don’t just leave poop in a Disney ride queue for guests to “enjoy.”

  1. I’m sorry I know accidents happen but if a parent tells their child to do this or allows it the whole family should be kicked out of the park at least for the day if not longer. This is just disgusting!!
