But the Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville, did not.

Grinchmas Time!
As part of the Holidays at Universal Studios, Grinchmas is celebrated at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. At Seuss Landing, located within the theme park, guests can meet the Grinch and find other Whos wandering around the area.

In addition, the entire section of the park is decorated for the holidays and includes special shows such as The Grinchmas™ Who-liday Spectacular and musical performances.

All of these are themed to How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), which was based on the original book and animated short.

But some Grinch fans may be in for a surprise…
The Grinch Is Having a Baby
During a meet and greet, the Grinch proudly displays his belly up against that of a pregnant woman. When comparing their two belly bumps, the Grinch admits he felt a kick as he jumps back from the park guest.

He then admits he has a “food baby” from eating too many onions. The conversation then moves on to discussing the Eagles and football.

The Grinch, must like Gaston at Disney Parks is known for his unique comments and edgy attitude when interacting with park guests. It’s not uncommon for The Grinch to say and do zany things, make a sarcastic comment, or even poke fun of (if not outright insult) someone he’s meeting.

But the idea of a pregnant Grinch or jokes about his belly are not new. Many online memes and even costumes spoof the idea of a pregnant Grinch, along with images of Jim Carrey as The Grinch in the 2000 film. Which if you remember, he had a very prominent belly.

But fear not, as this was only a joke. The Grinch is not changing his gender identity and Universal Studios is not going down a “woke” pathway with The Grinch.
