Disney World arrests are not as uncommon as one would hope for. A 32-year-old guest, Quashon Burton, had been on the run from authorities for over a year when the law finally caught up to him at, of all places, Walt Disney World Resort. Now, a video of the fugitive’s capture has been released.
Fugitive Captured
According to the New York Post, the report states that Burton was visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom in October 2022, under a fake ID when the Federal Postal Inspector who had signed the criminal complaint against the fugitive recognized him by one of the tattoos on his neck.

Burton was wanted for allegedly stealing around $150,000 in forgivable federal loans. He did it by stealing the identities of at least four people to fraudulently secure government PPP loans. Once the loans were accepted, he would visit an ATM at the post office to get the cash.
The federal inspector notified the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and Burton was extracted from Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park in October 2022. After being fully processed in Central Florida, he was sent back to New York, where a local judge determined he should be held without bail.

Video Released
While the incident has been quiet since 2022, a new video has been released showing the capture of the fugitive at the bus transportation loop at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Check out the video in the social media post below:

Thankfully, it does not appear that any guests or Cast Members were harder. Sadly, Burton’s family, including a young daughter, were with him to witness the arrest.
