More and more Walt Disney World Resort attractions have been switching to Genie+ attractions, and apparently, another EPCOT attraction has just been announced for the switch too! Journalist Scott Gustin shared recently that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is next up for Genie+ attractions.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is fairly new to Walt Disney World Resort, having only recently been added to EPCOT and the new France Pavilion in the World Showcase (alongside a new restaurant and wedding venue, as well). As Scott Gustin pointed out in his Tweet (shown below), Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is now the only Individual Lightning Lane to be found within the EPCOT Disney Park.

Or, at least, after May 31! Between May 27 and 30, both attractions will be Individual Lightning Lane attractions, but then Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be on its own. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is expected to be a Genie+ inclusion until August 7 at the very least.
NEW: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be included in Genie+ starting May 31 (through at least Aug. 7).
This means both Remy's and Cosmic Rewind will be Individual Lightning Lane May 27-30. Starting May 31, Cosmic Rewind will be the only Individual Lightning Lane at EPCOT.

Many Walt Disney World Resort Guests have been disappointed in Genie+ and the resulting Disney experience — and lately, it actually seems like the Walt Disney Company itself is disappointed in the Disney Genie service’s effect on the Disney experience for Guests, too — but Disney CEO Bob Chapek confirmed during a recent financial earnings report that Disney Guests were still flocking to the Parks and that Genie+ was still going to pay off in the long run.
That Aug. 7 date remains:
"*Until August 7, 2022, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (beginning May 31, 2022), Space Mountain and Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will be included via Disney Genie+"

Scott Gustin also shared that some of the other attractions that were recently switched to Genie+ Lightning Lane attractions (i.e. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Frozen Ever After, Space Mountain, and Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain) would be classified as such until at least August 7.

Are you a fan of the Disney experience that Guests receive with the new Genie service and Genie+, or do you still miss the FastPass system that used to be used for Disney Park rides and attractions within Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort?
