Marvel fans and Disney fans have been having a great time observing the “Eternals” press tour that’s underway for the new Marvel Studios movie, and even though most of the attention has been on the women’s red carpet appearances, we’ve also seen some cute or charming moments from the cast members that are men! Many fans of Games of Thrones, the popular HBO fantasy series that was based on the George R. R. Martin book series, will recognize actors Richard Madden and Kit Harington during the red carpet events. The two men played close brothers in Game of Thrones, with Richard playing Robb Stark, the oldest brother and heir to their father’s noble position, while Kit played Jon Snow, Robb’s illegitimate brother. Even though that particular show is filled with violence and far too much tragedy to suit many Disney fans, the two actors clearly had a strong bond–both between their characters and on set.
From the Eternals trailers, it doesn’t look like Kit’s character Dane will be getting as much attention as Richard’s (particularly since Richard’s character Ikaris is the true love of Gemma Chan’s character Sersi) but it’s still exciting to see these two male actors working together again. We can see from the clip shown in the Tweet below that the two men were also happy to see each other!

We love when actors who are genuinely friends get to work together, especially when it’s actors who got to literally grow up together in the industry. The “Game of Thrones” show started when several of its actors were still very young, so viewers really did see Richard and Kit grow from ‘teenagers’ into well-rounded men! We also, of course, know Richard for the Scottish actor’s role as Prince Charming (aka Kit, which is a great coincidence) in Cinderella opposite Lily James. “Eternals” also presents another interesting coincidence in this regard, because Gemma Chan and Richard Madden have been close friends for many years too!
Are you excited to see “Eternals” in theaters on November 5th, and to see how these actors’ real-life relationships transition into their roles onscreen?
