Controversial transgender influencer Lilly Tino is making waves once again, this time with a viral video showing her returning a bread tower at a Disney park. The incident unfolded after a Disney cast member allegedly misgendered Tino, prompting her to demand a refund on the bread. The entire exchange was captured live on stream, quickly spreading across social media and igniting a range of reactions.
The Incident That Sparked Backlash
In the live-streamed video, Tino is seen interacting with a Disney cast member, where tensions escalate after she is misgendered. Frustrated, Tino requests a refund for the bread and proceeds to return the item, offering an explanation for her decision on the live stream.
The incident soon went viral, with social media users divided on Tino’s response. While some voiced their support for the influencer’s decision, arguing that standing up for herself was justified, others criticized her for escalating the situation and seeking a refund. The moment has sparked renewed conversations about the treatment of transgender individuals in public spaces, customer service expectations, and the ways public figures choose to handle such situations.

A Previous Controversial Moment
This latest incident follows an even more controversial video Tino posted last year during a visit to Disneyland. In that video, Tino used cake pops and corn dogs as references to male anatomy, relating them to her genital surgery. The video sparked widespread backlash, with critics accusing Tino of making inappropriate references in a family-friendly environment. However, she also garnered support from those who defended her right to openly discuss her experience and challenges.
The misgendering incident at Disney is the latest in a series of public moments that have brought Tino into the spotlight, but this time, the conversation is focused on the intersection of customer service, personal boundaries, and how businesses, such as Disney, handle gender identity-related issues.
Social media reactions have been mixed, with some defending Tino’s actions, citing the importance of holding others accountable for misgendering, especially in spaces that are marketed as inclusive. On the other hand, critics argue that the influencer’s public reaction—returning the bread and streaming the exchange—was excessive and played into a broader trend of using personal grievances for public attention.
What do you think of this public display?
He is a bully. Not a frail little girl. He’s done this everywhere he goes to harrass unsuspecting wait staff or other struggling customer service workers. He doesn’t seem to “feel unsafe”. He’s aggressive and hasn’t bothered changing his body or voice. He likes catching people off guard to attack them. Using food items to talk about his genitals in a children’s parks is very sus. Check his hard drive.
Well when you go looking for conflict you’ll probably find it, these so called influencers intention go out looking for problems for attention. Maybe time to stop allowing them to record this crap content.
It’s very simple. The employee must follow company policy or risk discipline from the employer. However, no person has a right to demand that others address them in any particular way; they have a right to ask they be addressed in a particular way. How the other responds to the request is a reflection of them.
As for not wanting to pay for the bread. The customer should have paid for it.
Am I supposed to feel sorry for someone who pretends to be a woman. This is clearly a man who was looking for an excuse. You don’t feel safe because someone refers to you as a gender you just refuse to identify as?? Give me a break.
There is a story I’ve heard from former Disney employees that were around when Walt Disney was around. Walt had a dress code, if you didn’t dress appropriately you wouldn’t get in. Period. Biological men dressed as men and biological women dressed as women. There was no nonsense.
Why do you initiate the confrontation? You’re the one trying to influence everyone to your way of thinking. You kept going back to cause problems and to raise awareness. To what? That you think you’re different than the what you were born. If it’s so important you live your life and quit trying to make us have to live it with you.
This dude is a tool! He should stay home if he can’t handle the truth! Plain and simple! He just gets his rocks off, trying to bait cast members into entrapment with his BS!
These videos make me so angry. The cast member was very polite and apologized for calling him what he is when you look at him. All these new rules on how to address someone who has conflicting gender issues is just nonsense. How does someone know what to call you when are a girl and dressed as a boy, boy dressed as a girl. How does someone know if you changed body parts and now want to be something else? Then you have the ridiculous pronoun issues…girl dressed as a girl but wants to be called they or them. It’s like someone calling me Miss instead of Mrs.-because I didn’t have my ring on-I don’t care! Influencers are attention seekers and want to find the smallest thing and make it something more than what it is.
This dude’s a shyt starter. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…unless you know this person and you are aware that they are a transgender person who chooses not to transition( which is where the ‘trans’ part comes from), call it like you see it. In my opinion, this guy’s just an attention seeker, period. I don’t believe for a second that he’s trans. Queer, hell ya, he’s full blown but not trans. A transgender person, if they are able to, transitions. This is a slap in the face for those who are really suffering, and someone needs to call him out. This pisses me off.
