What is Disney Magic? Some might say that it does not exist and claim it is nothing more than a dopamine-driving marketing tool. Others might say it is just the name of a cruise ship, and further others still might say it is something fantastical found only in the animated features (or is the visual complexity of the animation itself). While all those claims might have some truth to them, Disney Magic has consistently been showcased as something based on love and eternal youth that can reignite the heart, rejuvenate the human spirit, and return a smile to one’s face.

Now, the real world might be lacking in examples of this magic waking people from eternal slumbers, pumpkins transforming into glamorous coaches, or beasts and their furniture returning to human form. But, thanks to social media, we can see how Disney Magic can relieve real-world “curses” in a Disney Theme Park–even if it is just for a single, heart-aching moment.

The latest example of real-world Disney Magic we found at Disney Fanatic comes from TikTok user and Walt Disney World Guest @samrose0308, who shared a video of her grandmother at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time in years.

In the video, she explains, “My Grammy has really bad dementia and she hasn’t seen the castle in a really long time… She remembered it.”

We at Disney Fanatic have covered other Disney Magic moments in the past, including one Naval officer who reunited with his wife and son in a special moment right in front of another Disney Castle–Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Park.

Recent politics have sparked division, costs have been constraining, and fellow Guests–in general–can cause harm. But there is so much out there to distract from the classic magic that is still there in a Disney Park. One often finds what one looks for.

We at Disney Fanatic will continue to update our readers on Disney news and stories as more come to light.
