Disney Just Shared Photos of TRON’s Post-Show, We’re Excited!

TRON Lightcycle/Run has been in the news for some not-so-magical reasons recently. Between the “disgusting” TRON t-shirt that has been making the rounds recently and all the backlash the ride received for not being inclusive of different Cast Members. The ride, which has been highly anticipated for years, will be open for previews soon for D23 Gold members and Annual Passholders. Disney Imagineers recently shared the final finishing touches on the upcoming TRON ride, and it looks fantastic!

Journalist Scott Gustin took to Twitter to share photos from Walt Disney Imagineering. Imagineers have put the finishing touches on the TRON Lightcycle/Run post-show, and they look amazing. He added, “As Disney shared, ‘Imagineers just installed Team Green’s Lightcycle and are finishing up the installation of a collection of graphics throughout the space.’ ”

 The post-show is presented through an Enterprise Rent-A-Car sponsorship; Enterprise also commented on Walt Disney Imagineering’s post, “We’re thrilled for this exciting update from the Grid! See you April 4, Team Green.” Fans love the photos and have been sharing the photos themselves. One shared, “Riding in a week, we can’t wait!!” Many corroborated the sentiment of excitement as well.

Disney is certainly going all out for this ride and we’re so excited to see how this turns out for fans.

TRON Lightcycle/Run is an upcoming ride in Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The Disney Theme Park is also home to rides like Space Mountain, “it’s a small world,” Jungle Cruise, and soon will be home to the upcoming attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which has replaced the old fan-favorite Splash Mountain.
